While working at Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Sorensen recognized the importance of preparing a detailed request for the production of documents. He was hired by the Arizona House of Representatives as a financial forensic expert in the Impeachment of Governor Evan Mecham.

His analysis of the Governor’s financial documents resulted in his Impeachment. The State of Arizona had invested 600 man-hours without producing any significant results. In contrast, the discovery by Mr. Sorensen documented the insolvency of the Governor's private business. The total time required to justify the Governor’s impeachment was just 4 hours.

He founded the EZ DOC Corporation that created proprietary software that a) prepares Request for Production of Documents, b) searches and summarizes the IRS database and c) performs what-if calculations for wage and business losses.

The Department of Labor lists over 12,500 occupations. The EZ DOC Request program has over 500 unique occupations and covers every occupation categorized by the DOL. The database has been utilized by law firms and insurance companies since 1996.
